1970 - 1976 Firebird Formula Hood, Lightweight carbon fiber replacement for original Formula hood that was made out of fiberglass from the factory and weighed a ton. Our hood bolts onto factory or aftermarket hinges like original. Scoops can be opened up to function like original.

Fiberglass with primer finish must be trial fitted, block sanded, and prepped before painting
Always use properly installed hood pins with this hood! The factory Formula hood had a steel catch that was riveted to the inside of the fiberglass hood which is no longer available. This composite catch will wear out over time from the steel latch scraping on it from closing the hood. We suggest covering the latch catch area with a piece fashioned out of stainless steel sheet to protect it. Hood pins are still required to ensure the hood is properly secured.
