Shipping Policy
Processing and Shipping Time
In-stock items are generally processed and shipped within 3 business days, excluding holidays, from the date your order was placed. During the busiest times of the year, please allow additional time for your order to ship.
For international orders, please allow an additional 2 business days for processing before your order ships.
If you wish to update your shipping address before your order ships from our warehouse, you may do so through the order confirmation email sent to you or by contacting us and providing your order number or email address, along with the new shipping address.
Please note that once your order has shipped from our warehouse, we are unable to reroute the shipment. You may contact the respective carrier to request a reroute. Any additional charges associated with rerouting your order will be your responsibility.
Each carrier has its own estimated delivery times based on the shipping service selected at checkout. Delivery estimates begin once the shipment has been picked up from our warehouse.

International Shipping
Anvil Auto ships internationally to select countries. International orders are subject to additional processing requirements and may be subject to customs clearance procedures.
Duties, Taxes, and Import Fees
All duties, tariffs, taxes, customs fees, brokerage fees, and other charges associated with importing a product into the destination country are the sole responsibility of the customer.
These charges are not included in the shipping cost presented at checkout. Any applicable duties, taxes, or import fees will be collected by the carrier or the appropriate customs authority and must be paid by the customer.
Customers are responsible for understanding and complying with all applicable import laws and regulations in their country before placing an international order. Customers should verify with their local customs authority whether the products they are purchasing are eligible for importation into their country.
Customs Delays
International shipments may be delayed while being processed or inspected by customs. Customs clearance times vary by country and are outside of Anvil Auto's control.
Any delivery estimates provided at checkout or by the carrier are estimates for transit time and do not include any time a shipment may be held by customs.
Anvil Auto is not responsible for delays caused by customs, government agencies, or other import-related procedures in the destination country.
Commercial Invoices and Customs Documentation
Because Anvil Auto is the exporter of record for international shipments, we are responsible for preparing the required commercial invoice and other applicable export documentation necessary for the customer to import the product into their country.
All commercial invoices and customs documentation will be completed in accordance with applicable laws and regulations.
Anvil Auto will not alter, falsify, undervalue, misrepresent, or otherwise modify a commercial invoice or customs documentation at a customer's request for the purpose of reducing or avoiding duties, taxes, tariffs, or other import fees. Requests to do so will be refused.
Refused or Undeliverable International Shipments
If a customer refuses delivery or refuses to pay applicable duties, taxes, customs fees, brokerage fees, or other import charges, the shipment may be returned to Anvil Auto.
If an international shipment is returned to Anvil Auto for any reason, including refusal of delivery or failure to pay applicable import charges, any fees, return shipping charges, customs charges, brokerage fees, or other costs incurred by Anvil Auto in connection with the return may be deducted from any refund owed to the customer.
Anvil Auto is not responsible for any delays, additional charges, or other costs resulting from a customer's failure to comply with the import requirements of their destination country.
International Oversized and Freight Shipments
Oversized and freight shipments, including large items such as hoods and fenders, may require special shipping and import arrangements. International freight shipments can differ significantly from standard small-parcel carrier shipments and will be handled on a case-by-case basis.
Customers purchasing oversized or freight items for international delivery should contact Anvil Auto before placing their order to discuss available shipping options, estimated costs, and any applicable import requirements.
Customers who are unsure whether an item qualifies as an oversized or freight shipment should contact Anvil Auto before placing their order.
Small Parcel
All small parcel orders are shipped FOB Origin, which means ownership of the goods and the risk of loss or damage transfer to the customer once the carrier picks up the package from Anvil Auto's facility.
Once the carrier has picked up the shipment, Anvil Auto is no longer in possession or control of the package. The carrier is responsible for the shipment while it is in the carrier's possession, subject to the carrier's applicable terms, conditions, and liability limitations.
Shipping Insurance and ShipInsure
Shipping insurance through ShipInsure is automatically added to every order. Customers may remove the insurance from their cart at checkout if they prefer.
ShipInsure coverage is separate from the FOB Origin shipping terms and does not change when ownership or risk of loss transfers to the customer. Selecting or declining ShipInsure does not change the customer's responsibility for the shipment under the applicable FOB terms.
If ShipInsure coverage is purchased and the shipment is lost, stolen, or damaged during transit, the customer may file a claim with ShipInsure for reimbursement, subject to the terms, conditions, exclusions, and limits of the ShipInsure policy.
If the customer declines ShipInsure, the customer assumes the risk of loss or damage to the shipment after the carrier picks up the package from Anvil Auto. Any claim for loss or damage must be pursued directly with the carrier or through any other applicable coverage available to the customer.
Anvil Auto is not responsible for loss or damage occurring after the carrier has taken possession of the shipment, except to the extent otherwise required by applicable law or expressly provided under these shipping terms.
Examples
With ShipInsure:
The shipment is shipped FOB Origin, so ownership and risk of loss transfer to the customer when the carrier picks up the package. If the shipment is subsequently lost, stolen, or damaged during transit, the customer may file a claim with ShipInsure for reimbursement, subject to the applicable ShipInsure terms and coverage.
Without ShipInsure:
The shipment is still shipped FOB Origin, and ownership and risk of loss transfer to the customer when the carrier picks up the package. If the shipment is subsequently lost, stolen, or damaged, the customer is responsible for pursuing any available claim directly with the carrier or through other applicable coverage.
Customers should inspect their package upon delivery and report any visible damage immediately. Concealed damage should be reported as soon as it is discovered. Customers should retain the original packaging and shipping materials when reporting damage, as they may be required for a claim.
Please see below to learn more about ShipInsure and how to file a claim.
Freight
Items that are too large for regular ground delivery may require shipment via truck freight. If your order requires freight shipping, you or someone on your behalf must be present to receive and sign for the shipment. If you are not present on the scheduled delivery date, you may incur penalty charges for redelivery.
You will be sent a PRO number to the email address provided at checkout once your order has been picked up by the freight carrier from our warehouse. You can use the PRO number to track your order.
Depending on the particular shipping arrangement for your order, the responsibility for preparing and filing shipping documents may be yours. Please review the following scenarios to determine your responsibilities:
Freight Prepaid
If your goods are shipped “FOB Destination [or Anvil Auto Shipping Dock]” or “Freight Prepaid and Added to Invoice,” Anvil Auto has paid its carrier to deliver the items and assumes responsibility for preparing and filing applicable paperwork and pursuing a claim with the carrier.
You agree to make reasonable efforts to assist Anvil Auto in collecting and providing information regarding any damage or loss.
Anvil Auto will coordinate the pickup and return of damaged items with the carrier and will receive any reimbursement or payout for damage or loss. Anvil Auto will endeavor to repair or replace damaged or lost goods, at its sole discretion, within a reasonable time after receiving notice of the damage or loss.
You may exchange the item(s) for a similar item(s) of equal or lesser value. If you would like to exchange the item(s) for an item(s) of greater value, you will be responsible for paying the difference in MSRP.
Freight Collect / Customer-Arranged Freight
If your goods are shipped using your contracted freight carrier, such as through your freight management program, and are shipped “FOB Shipping Point,” “Freight Collect,” or “Bill Cost to Customer Freight Carrier Account,” you have selected and paid a carrier of your choosing to pick up the items from Anvil Auto and deliver them to your chosen location.
You take ownership of the goods when your carrier picks them up from Anvil Auto. You assume both the risk of loss and the responsibility for preparing and filing applicable paperwork and pursuing any claims with the carrier.
You may request a replacement item by contacting Anvil Auto. Any replacement provided under these circumstances will be at your cost and expense. Anvil Auto agrees to make reasonable efforts to provide any additional information necessary for your claim.
A FOB Shipping Point Agreement will be sent to the buyer prior to releasing the goods to the buyer's carrier.
Freight Shipments to Hawaii and Puerto Rico
Processing and Shipping Timeframe
For freight shipments bound for Hawaii and Puerto Rico, please allow up to 10 business days for processing and shipping. This timeframe allows for the additional handling and transit arrangements required to ensure the secure delivery of your items.
Shipment via Less-Than-Truckload (LTL)
All items designated for shipment via LTL will be securely placed on skids. To safeguard your shipment during transit, such items are required to be fully insured.
Shipping Insurance
Shipping insurance will be automatically included on the final invoice. Alternatively, customers may opt out and provide their own insurance coverage.
Final Invoice Discrepancy
Customers are advised that the final invoice issued when the order is ready for LTL shipment may differ from the initial payment made at checkout. This difference may be due to factors such as insurance coverage, additional services required, and final skid dimensions and weight.
Pre-Order Items
Certain items may be out of stock or on backorder. If an item is not currently in stock at our shipping warehouse or through our distribution outlets, the item will be shipped once inventory becomes available and any remaining balance due has been paid.
If you placed a 50% deposit for your pre-order, you will be notified once the item becomes available of any remaining balance due, plus applicable shipping costs.
If your order contains both in-stock and pre-order items and you placed a 50% deposit for the pre-order items, the shipping calculated at checkout applies only to the in-stock items. We will prepare the in-stock items in your order for shipping and notify you once they have shipped.
Once inventory becomes available for your pre-order items, you will be notified of any remaining balance due, plus applicable shipping costs.
If you placed a full deposit for your pre-order, you will receive your tracking information once the item becomes available and has shipped.
If your order contains both in-stock and pre-order items and you placed a full deposit for the entire order, the shipping calculated at checkout applies to all items in your order. We will prepare the in-stock items for shipping and notify you once they have shipped.
Once inventory becomes available for your pre-order items, you will receive your tracking information once the items have shipped.
Please refer to our Refund Policy for information regarding the cancellation of pre-orders.
Anvil Auto reserves the right to cancel any orders deemed fraudulent or misleading.
